What can our youth do to stop climate change?
Climate Change: the burning issue at the moment. Considered as the mainstay of the nation, Youth have to make great effort to stop climate change and the adverse effect caused due to that. But, do you think that youth alone can settle climate change issue if you people(other than youth) keep on introducing the elements of climate change into the environment? Of course, Not. We all know that youth can play a vital role to bring out any positive changes with their innovative ideas. However, without the aid of other people, i.e. not introducing any elements which could cause climate change as well as bringing those elements at the minimal levels, they won't be able to achieve any feat. So, along with the innovative ideas of youth, other people also have to play a vital role in stopping climate change. Especially talking about Youth, they have the most innovative minds and approaches through which they can subdue any evolving issues on their own. How one can solve any problems yet? Well to do that, first what one has to do is to excavate the cause of the problems. The same goes for climate change solutions. It means to stop climate change, the foremost step that anybody should take is finding the cause of that. After finding the root, the youth should try to minimize those causes via public awareness. They can make optimum use of modern technology, such as AI, in this modern era to overcome climate changes. So, the idea of the youth should be strong enough like the wall in order to stop climate changes and its negative consequences in the environment.

  • What is the difference between mitigation and adaptation?
What is the difference between mitigation and adaptation?
Mitigation as it pertains to climate change is the actions that are taken to decrease the severity of climate change on earth. When mitigation is taking place, the environment will benefit. Some things that people are doing to mitigate the damage done by climate change includes taking care of the environment by decreasing the amount of energy and electricity that is used on a daily basis. Adaptation as it pertains to climate change is similar to mitigation and that it tries to help the environment so that global warming is not occurring as severely. This means that people are manipulating the systems in the environment but they are not necessarily cleaning the environment. When a person is doing climate change adaptation, they are changing the environment in order to reduce global warming.

  • Which of the following is the most widely discussed impact of climate change?
Which of the following is the most widely discussed impact of climate change?
The answer to this is letter A. The increase in average sea level. This is widely discussed because this is related to global warming which is probably one of the most talked about topics when it comes to the environment. As the earth warms up, the ice poles that used to be the homes of some animals are already starting to melt away. This has increased the average sea level. If global warming continues to occur, the time will come when some parts of the world will start to become engulfed in water. Some towns and cities would be part of the lost cities of the world. The other environmental issues are worth talking about too. People should become more informed about the things that they can do to change their actions.

  • Why should I care about climate change when I'll most likely be gone when its affects become catastrophic?
Why should I care about climate change when I'll most likely be gone when its affects become catastrophic?
Everyone should care about climate change because it is not fair to create problems for the environment and pretend that it doesn't matter because you cannot see the problem. That seems selfish. Also, no one exactly knows what may cause another major disaster that could have been prevented but instead it caused a major catastrophe. Some of these things that we should be concerned with and have control over are the pollution that we cause to the environment like throwing trash in the rivers and spraying aerosol cans. If you have children and grandchildren, you want to make sure that they are safe from environmental problems. You should also realize that you love your great grandchildren even if you are not alive so you should protect them by protecting the environment.

  • Who are we to say what the "right" climate is for the Earth?
Who are we to say what the "right" climate is for the Earth?
People have been concerned over climate change. The climatic data has shown that it gets warmer and warmer every year. It is believed that the climate of the planet will continue to get warmer. Even though this may seem like a great idea because people prefer a warm climate to a cold climate, there are some consequences that will take place as a result of this. The main result of the planet getting warmer is that the polar caps will melt. This will cause flooding of the coastal areas. It would be better to take care of the planet right now than to figure out how to get the right climate for the Earth. I think that the right climate is the climate we have right now.

  • What is the difference between global warming and cooling?
What is the difference between global warming and cooling?
Global warming is also known as climate change. It is the increase in the temperature of the earth over the past century. Evidence has shown that this is occurring. The scientists have been observing this since the late 1800s until now. It may not seem so dangerous or risky for the temperature to be increasing over time, but it is. It is rising about one degree over the past one hundred years. Global cooling is the opposite with the temperature on the Earth’s surface and their atmosphere getting cooler. This caused glaciers to form. This began later than the global warming phenomenon. It started to be researched in the 1970s. This data was gathered from the 1940s to the 1970s when the conclusion was drawn from the scientists.

  • Why aren't the melting glaciers of Antarctica and the North Pole receiving more coverage (since it results in increasing sea levels)?
Why aren't the melting glaciers of Antarctica and the North Pole receiving more coverage (since it results in increasing sea levels)?
The glaciers of Antarctica and the North Pole are melting which is caused by global warming. As the temperature gets warmer, this will cause more problems because it will cause the glaciers to melt more. More and more glaciers will melt over time as long as global warming is taking place. However, people rarely ever see media coverage of these melting glaciers. My belief is that the reason there is very little coverage of this problem is because it does not affect most people because very few people live near or on Antarctica or the North Pole. Even though the sea levels are increasing, they are not increasing at very high levels and many people don’t see the problem at this point.

  • What are your thoughts on cutting trees to make room for solar panels?
What are your thoughts on cutting trees to make room for solar panels?
It may seem unusual that there is a connection between trees and solar panels. Solar panels are installed on top of the roof of a house in order to absorb the heat and energy from the sun. This will decrease people’s energy bills. The only way for solar panels to function is for the sun to be exposed to them. If something is blocking them, then they will not work because there is an obstacle in its way. Energy and the sun can’t shine to the solar panels. In most cases, trees are the number one obstacle to let sun get to the solar panels. Many homeowners think they need to cut down the trees around their houses in order for the sun to reach the solar panels, but that doesn’t need to happen.

  • Should we already be concerned about the safety of upcoming generations (if not, why)?
Should we already be concerned about the safety of upcoming generations (if not, why)?
I believe that all generations worry about the upcoming generations in regards to different issues that the current generations fear the upcoming generations may face. Some of these issues include safety, environment, and agriculture. Safety can come in the form of crime and, sometimes it can come in the form of being healthy and safe from pollution and lack of natural resources. Some people think that we should not be concerned with issues like these because they do not affect us now. However, we should be concerned with upcoming generations because they deserve a healthy atmosphere and environment just like we have it. At the rate that it is going, the upcoming generations will suffer from heavier pollution in the rivers and air.
