Los tipos de rimas más usuales son: la rima consonante, que sucede cuando se repiten todos los sonidos a partir de la última vocal acentuada de la palabra final de los versos rimados.La rima asonante se presenta cuando solamente coinciden los sonidos de vocales a partir de la última vocal acentuada de la palabra final de los versos rimados.La otra manera es la prosa poética o simplemente prosa, ésta en general no tiene ninguna forma determinada de escribirse, es decir, no está sometida a una cantidad de silabas y la musicalidad es relativa, o no la tiene.
