What is the craziest diet you’ve heard of?
There are many kinds of diet nowadays, but the craziest I’ve heard of is activated charcoal body cleanse and detox. I’m not saying that this is actually the craziest among all the diets available to the public, but this answer is based on my own opinion. In this kind of diet, a person will only drink juice that contains activated charcoal to your regular diet. The reasoning behind this diet is that the body allegedly could not absorb activated charcoal, so it directly passes untouched through the digestive system. Since the activated charcoal clings on to toxins in the body, it then removes any unhealthy stuff commonly found in processed foods. While it is true that activated charcoal removes toxins out of your body, it also means that it can suck out the nutrients found in the intestine.

  • What diets have you tried?
    What diets have you tried?
There are several diets I have tried and these are as follows: 1) Juice cleans which means that I only drink juice and do not consume solid foods, 2) The Eight-Hour Diet which means that I only eat between 9 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon or between 11 in the morning and 7 in the evening, and 3) The Fist Diet which means that I can only fill my plate with the equivalent fistful portion of protein, carbs and vegetables. Although there are advantages and disadvantages from these three diets I have tried so far, I actually saw improvement after just a few months. I’m not a professional when it comes to the type of diet, but if you are willing to give it a try, just do so at your own risk.

  • What is the meaning of gluten free?
What is the meaning of gluten free?
The term "gluten free" means that certain product does not contain any wheat or grain products in it. Many people like to eat a gluten free diet as a health measure but some people have an actual disease that prevents them from eating products that are not gluten free. This disease is called Celiac disease. If you have Celiac disease then there are many products that you will not be able to eat based on your food allergies. Some of these products include breads, baked goods, cereals, soups, pastas, and beer. You must also be careful about what you eat, for example food that is processed in plants can also contain gluten. The good news is that many companies are starting to produce more and more gluten free things as awareness against gluten rises.

  • Is dieting healthy or unhealthy?
    Is dieting healthy or unhealthy?
Before I answer this question, it is worthy to note that there are two kinds of diet – the proper one and the crash diet. Of course, proper diet is considered healthy for our body, but people should also know that for proper diet to really work, they should also do it together with exercise. Now, if we are going to talk about crash diet, then the answer is simple: IT IS NOT HEALTHY. This is because crash diet places stress to your body and its effectiveness is only short term. A lot of people resort to crash diet and while they do lose a few pounds in a few days, they find themselves gaining back the weight in just a short period of time.

  • Is dieting an effective way to lose weight and keep it off?
Is dieting an effective way to lose weight and keep it off?
The answer is yes and no. Diet is an effective way to lose weight, but it’s not enough to maintain your weight just by sticking to your own diet. Professionals claim that a proper diet coupled with a healthy exercise will not only help you lose weight, but will also help you maintain your body shape. Exercise has been proven to be one of the major factors in terms of weight control because when you exercise, you also burn a lot of calories. You can either do a morning run, a walk in the park or you can go to the gym. That being said, diet and exercising work great when combined together, but if you only go on a diet but not exercise, then there will come a time that you will definitely gain those pounds back.

  • Do you know anyone who has lost a lot of weight on a diet? Have they keep the weight off?
Do you know anyone who has lost a lot of weight on a diet? Have they keep the weight off?
Yes, I have friends who lost a lot of weight on a diet. But they also told me that being on a diet is not the only reason why they were able to maintain their lean bodies. They were able to keep the weight off by also doing exercise every day, may it be running, walking, jogging, or just going to the gym. They all have different opinions in terms of the effects of diet, but they all agree on this: The effect of diet is only short term. They said that as people begin to age, the body’s metabolism becomes slower thus, making it impossible to lose a lot of weight even if they stick with their diet. The majority of thes people, however, were able to keep their weight off by a diet coupled with exercise.

  • How hungry should you feel when dieting?
How hungry should you feel when dieting?
Many diet programs claim that you will never feel hungry if you use their dieting program. However, when you diet, you are probably going to feel hungry. It is not recommended that you go for long periods of time without eating. The main thing that would happen in that situation is that you would eat a whole bunch of fattening or sweet foods at one time. Instead, eat small filling and healthy foods throughout the day so that you will not feel hungry for very long during the day. If you stick to this way of dieting, you are less likely to binge eat and you will stay on this diet or lifestyle for a longer period of time. Eating low-calories foods is best for a diet.

  • There are no supplements that can prevent carb craving?
There are no supplements that can prevent carb craving?
FalseAnswer: Carbohydrate craving is one of the biggest obstacles to successful fat loss. Typically, carb craving is simply caused by the fact that simple carbohydrate, sugar and other white foods, create a rapid rise in blood sugar, followed by a massive drop in blood sugar (called insulin overshoot). Your brain then drives you to seek out more white food which of course is readily available everywhere you look. All snack foods are essentially white foods because they are made with flour, potatoes, corn meal, sugar etc. The best way to curb carb craving is to eat more protein. In addition there are several all-natural supplements, which, particularly when combined together, can markedly reduce carb craving by stabilizing blood sugar. The supplements are combined in a Cornerstone Wellness supplement called MetAssist. Typically these tablets are taken before meals and can also be taken as needed when the crave hits. They are extremely safe and hundreds of thousands of people have used these ingredients together with great success. In addition, several of the ingredients have shown to promote weight loss directly NOT just by reducing carb craving.
