Introduction to Waves

This is a pretty neat link to an interactive graphic that helps explain basic wave terminology such as amplitude, wavelength, and phase shift. While I came across it when studying about RF waves for wireless networking, this would be useful for anyone trying to understand the basics of waveforms and the terms used to describe them. You basically can adjust either the amplitude, wavelength, or phase shift and see how that effects the wave displayed. This link also includes more in-depth information about how waves function.

Refraction of Waves

This link leads to a neat little java applet that helps demonstrate refraction, which is what happens when a wave passes through something of a different density and isn't reflected, but the angle that it was traveling at is changed. While I came upon this link studying refraction as it relates to wireless data waves, it would also be useful for anyone studying waves or refraction in physics as well.
