There is some great study material here with photo's of the different connectors, motherboards and so on. If you print this out and read it just before you go write your exam it could save you a few valuable points.
This is a reference to the CPU sockets that have been used and are currently in use. Presentation is variable because of the difficulty in getting accurate drawings or decent photos. The CPU manufacturers are terrible about providing info and the socket manufacturers are too vague because of their broad choices of products.
