The Book of Isaiah, based from the oldest manuscripts recovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls, is the first book of the Latter Prophets and the Major Prophets in the Hebrew and English bibles. There are three collections of oracles in this book as found by the scholars. The first contains Isaiah’s original words, the second (chapters 40-55) contains the work from an unknown author, and the last (chapters 56-66) includes the twelve passages’ anthology.
