What Stage Of Faith Are You?

"The childhood faith is conditioned by both our cultural situation and the faith - or lack of faith - of the family into which we are born and raised." This means that your faith is mostly because you're just following what your parents are telling you to do and what your faith is, without questioning them. You can only move on to the next stage by doubting, questioning and learning about your faith to fully understand it more.

"The adolesccent stage is both the most critical and the most painful." In this stage, you start to doubt, question and understand a little more about your faith. This stage involves you making the transition from recieving the 'seed' of faith in baptism and to 'confirmation' it by personal conviction - which explains how you move from the childhood stage to the adolescent stage. Your childhood stage must die before the adult stage comes in, by this we have to get rid of our simplistic and/or immature notions, which is painful to do, but this is how we can get to the adult stage of faith.
