The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is the second part in a story line which follows what happened to Huckleberry Finn after discovering treasure. In this story he puts all of his money into the bank and is adopted by a strict conservative woman and her family. He is forced to learn how to read, and to grow up to be a gentleman.

While he bemoans this, he is told by Tom Sawyer that he needs to keep up with it because Tom has plans to create a group and Huck will be part of it. But things go a bit south as Huck’s father comes back into down drunk as ever and makes a claim that as the father he should have all of the treasure and money that Huckleberry has in the bank.
