The Phantom Of The Opera Quizzes & Trivia

Phantom of the Opera is a wonderful story, one which was created decades ago in France. The story was inspired by the renovations which the Paris Opera underwent during the reign of Napoleon. During this time, they were redoing the building, and upon digging in the center of the building found that there was a lake underneath the building.

This lake inspired the story for the phantom, who lived beneath the theater. The story was converted into an opera, with many scores crafted and performed across many stages around the world. Perhaps most famously, this score was converted into a film which allowed a wider audience to enjoy the story line and the mystery behind it.
