Biodiversity In Indonesian Quiz: Keanekaragaman Hayati

The other options mentioned in the question all relate to the benefits of studying biodiversity, such as understanding the relationships between different species, their characteristics, and their interdependence. However, the option "Mengetahui cara eksplotasi secara besar-besaran" (Knowing large-scale exploitation methods) does not align with the positive aspects of studying biodiversity. Instead, it suggests a negative consequence of studying biodiversity, as it implies the potential for exploiting or harming the environment on a large scale.

The given answer, "genus sama, spesies berbeda" (same genus, different species), is correct because it states that the tebu plant (Sacharum officinarum) and the gelagah plant (Sacharum spontaneum) belong to the same genus (Sacharum) but are different species. This means that they share some common characteristics but also have distinct differences, such as their physical appearance, habitat, or genetic makeup.

The correct answer is 2 and 3. This is because Musa textilis and Musa paradisiaca are both species of the Musa genus, which means they are closely related. Curcuma domestika and Felix domestica are not related to Musa, so they are not the closest relatives.

The correct answer states that biology is the study of all living beings in the present and in the past. This definition encompasses the study of all organisms that have ever existed, allowing researchers to understand the evolution and interconnectedness of life on Earth. By studying the past, biologists can gain insights into the origins and development of different species, as well as the environmental factors that have shaped their evolution over time.

The given answer, "gen," is correct because the statement suggests that individuals of the same species are never exactly the same for all traits, and this is due to differences in genes. Genes play a crucial role in determining the characteristics and traits of individuals, and variations in genes result in variations in traits among individuals of the same species. Therefore, the answer "gen" accurately explains the reason for the lack of identical individuals in a species.

The scientific name for corn is zea mays, where "zea" refers to the genus of the plant. In taxonomy, the genus is a rank above species and below family. It groups together closely related species that share common characteristics and are more similar to each other than to species in other genera. Therefore, the correct answer is "genus" because it accurately represents the taxonomic classification of the plant name zea mays.

The correct answer is "bioma hutan hujan tropis." The explanation for this answer is that tropical rainforests are known to have high biodiversity due to their unique combination of warm temperatures, high rainfall, and stable climate conditions. These factors provide a favorable environment for a wide variety of plant and animal species to thrive, resulting in a high level of biological diversity.

Two living creatures that occupy the same area can be called the same species if they produce fertile offspring through mating.

The correct answer is "Sumber energi primer." The question asks for the component that does not indicate the biodiversity of an ecosystem. The other options, such as jenis produsen (type of producers), produktivitas (productivity), komponen abiotik (abiotic components), and komponen biotik (biotic components), all contribute to the diversity and functioning of an ecosystem. The primary energy source, on the other hand, does not directly indicate the diversity of species or components within an ecosystem.

Felidae is the correct answer because it is the only option that represents a family name. Solanum, Pandanales, Ipomea, and Glysine are all names of plant genera, while Felidae is the family name for the group of mammals that includes cats.

Carolus Linnaeus is known as the father of taxonomy. He developed the modern system of naming and classifying organisms, known as binomial nomenclature. Linnaeus's work laid the foundation for the classification and organization of living organisms based on their shared characteristics. His system is still widely used today in the field of biology and has greatly contributed to our understanding of the diversity of life on Earth.

The correct answer is "buatan" because it refers to a classification system that is based on artificial similarities in the morphology, anatomy, physiology, and reproductive organs of organisms. This suggests that the classification system is man-made or created by humans rather than occurring naturally in the environment.

The correct answer is "kelas" (class). The question is asking for the lowest taxonomic level that includes both kacang (beans) and mangga (mango) in the same systematic position. The taxonomic hierarchy starts with kingdom, followed by phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. Since both kacang and mangga belong to the same class, it is the lowest taxonomic level that includes both of them.
