All of the mentioned precautions are necessary for the prevention of COVID-19. Washing hands with soap helps in killing the virus that may be present on hands. Covering the nose and mouth with a mask helps in preventing the transmission of the virus through respiratory droplets. Using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content is an effective way to kill the virus if soap and water are not readily available. Therefore, all of the above precautions should be followed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Wuhan, Hubei is the correct answer because it is widely known and documented that the first case of novel coronavirus was identified in Wuhan, Hubei province in China. This information has been confirmed by multiple sources and is widely accepted as the starting point of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The correct answer is to eat completely washed and cooked food (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian). This is a good practice because washing and cooking food properly helps to eliminate harmful bacteria and parasites that can cause foodborne illnesses. It is important to ensure that all food, regardless of its type, is thoroughly cooked to kill any potential pathogens. Additionally, washing fruits and vegetables before consumption helps remove dirt, pesticides, and other contaminants. By following this practice, individuals can reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses and maintain good overall health.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) can infect people of any age. While it is true that children below 5 years and old people above 60 years are more vulnerable to the virus, it does not mean that people of other age groups are immune. COVID-19 can affect individuals of all ages, although older adults and those with underlying health conditions are more likely to develop severe symptoms. Therefore, it is important for people of all ages to take necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.

The correct answer is "All of the above" because the symptoms listed (fever, cough, shortness of breath) are commonly associated with COVID-19. These symptoms are often seen in individuals who have contracted the virus, although it is important to note that some individuals may experience mild or no symptoms at all. It is crucial to be aware of these symptoms and seek medical attention if they are present, as early detection and treatment can help prevent the spread of the virus.

SARS-CoV-2 is the correct answer because it is the virus that causes COVID-19. Ebola, MERS, and Hantavirus are different viruses that cause their own respective diseases, but they are not responsible for causing COVID-19.

SARS stands for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. This is a viral respiratory illness caused by the SARS coronavirus. It is characterized by symptoms such as fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. The disease first emerged in 2002 in China and spread to several countries, causing a global outbreak. The correct answer is Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome because it accurately represents the name and nature of the illness.

The term "quarantine" refers to a period of isolation, during which individuals or groups are separated from others to prevent the spread of a contagious disease. It can also refer to the state or condition of being isolated, as well as the physical place or location where the isolation takes place. Therefore, all of the options - place of isolation, state of isolation, and period of isolation - accurately define what is meant by quarantine.

The genetic material of the COVID-19 virus is RNA. RNA stands for ribonucleic acid, which is a type of nucleic acid that carries genetic information in many viruses, including coronaviruses. Unlike DNA, which is double-stranded, RNA is usually single-stranded. The RNA of the COVID-19 virus contains the instructions for the virus to replicate and produce its proteins. Understanding the RNA of the virus is crucial for developing diagnostic tests, vaccines, and antiviral treatments.

The coronavirus got its name due to its crown-like projections. These projections, also known as spikes or peplomers, are present on the surface of the virus and give it a crown-like appearance when viewed under a microscope. These spikes are made up of proteins that help the virus attach to and enter host cells. The crown-like projections are a distinctive feature of coronaviruses and are the reason behind the naming of this virus family.
