A superuser is a regular user of the system who has in-depth knowledge of the information system. An end-user- is a user of the system who are clinicians, nurses, physicians. Project champions are high level executive (generally) who supports the project and understand the importance. The project champion is usually the organizations political support.

Big-bang is when the whole organization implements the system all at once.
alpha testing is when individuals test their own product. It requires that the end users ensure the acceptability of the system by conducting scenarios in the test region. Alpha testing is testing before the product is introduced to outsiders. Beta testing is when other people test the creator's system.
Implementation strategies include: Phased, which is a roll out from 1 department at a time. Big-bang, which is the whole organization implementing the system all at once. Pilot is when the system is tested out on a pilot unit first. Parallel system implementation is when a new system is rolled while still using the old/legacy system.
