You can also lose your aid if you receive failing grades. If you are in jeopardy of failing or you can't make it to class, please let someone know! The last day for a student-initiated withdrawal from a 15-week class is October 18th!

You can buy your books with money from Financial Aid as long as you buy them at our College Bookstore. We will allot you up to $450 of your Financial Aid money each semester to go towards books if you have it available. If you chose to buy your books elsewhere, you will have to pay out of pocket until you receive your refund later in the semester. Note: Some students might not have Financial Aid that covers the cost of books. Check your statement on myPEAK or call 262-6454.

A negative (-) symbol means that's much how much money is left on your account that you can use for books or will get in a refund check. Remember if you took out loans, that could mean you have to pay that money back with interest!!! Please borrow wisely and readjust if you need to. If the number is positive, that's how much you owe to the college. That amount needs to be paid or you will a.) be removed from classes or b.) be responsible for that balance and it could possibly be sent to collections and affect your credit!

The term "Comp Service Fee" on a billing statement stands for "Comprehensive". This suggests that the fee is related to a comprehensive service provided by the company.
