Getting ahead to hit the ground running on Monday, and you might come in on Sunday to tie up some loose ends
Making your to do list for Monday, but looking forward to not thinking about work over the weekend.
Why do 10th business days so often fall on Fridays?! Seamless here I come…
Racing to your OpenTable reservation. You’re trying out the new hot spot.
Hands off and allows me to be autonomous. I learn best from doing, and I learn from making mistakes.
Nurturing and supportive. I appreciate feeling like my team lead will stay with me through any problem I have, no matter how long it takes, and is available to answer all of my questions with patience and kindness.
To the point. I want a team lead who will tell me like it is—whether I’m doing poorly or well; answer my questions directly without any fluff when I need them answered, but also encourage me to work through issues myself.
Very knowledgeable. I don’t care how my team lead acts with me as long as I know they are good at their job and know a lot about the systems.
Involved in everything! I like having a team lead that can connect me to the resources and people I need at a moment’s notice.
A great communicator
Yoga pants. If you wear a long sweater, no one will notice, right?
The same style of outfit I wore on Thursday. Casual Friday is unprofessional.
Jeans, sweatshirt, sneakers. The weekend uniform.
A dress and heels because you have plans for drinks in D.C. after work.
I haven’t washed my hair in five days, is that casual enough for you?
