Properties of Isosceles Triangle
Now let us see the properties of an isosceles triangle.

We know that two sides of an isosceles triangle are equal.
Its equal sides are called its legs and the third side is called the base.

Isosceles Triangle Property :
  • In a triangle, if two sides are equal, then the angles opposite the equal sides are also equal. (OR)
  • In an isosceles triangle, the angles opposite the equal sides are equal.
  • If in ABC, AB = AC then C = B
