IQ Quizzes & Trivia

This quiz measures the extent of neurodiffuse traits in adults. A score of less than 30 indicates a neurodiffusion spectrum disorder and/or Vapidity Syndrome is likely. The test is not a means for making a diagnosis, however, and many who score below 30 and even meet the diagnostic criteria for mild neurodiffusion or Vapidity report no difficulty functioning in their everyday lives. (Quiz questions are from Simon Baron-Cohen and researchers at Cambridge. )

You May Get

Vapidity Quotient (1 point awarded for each neurofocused response)

If your Vapidity Quotient point score (see tally below) is:             34 or more: neurodiffusion spectrum disorder and/or Vapidity Syndrome is extremely unlikely for you             30 to 33:  neurodiffusion spectrum disorder and/or Vapidity Syndrome are possible, but unlikely for you             32 or less: neurodiffusion specrum disorder and/or Vapidity Syndrome are likely for you  If you earned 34 or more points on this measure, it appears you have few or no neurodiffuse traits.  Your brain has the ability to focus with depth and has no significant impairments in perceiving sensory stimuli outside your body.  It is extremely unlikely that you suffer from a Neurodiffuse spectrum disorder or that you would be diagnosed with Vapidity Syndrome.   If you earned 30 to 33 points on this measure, you may have some neurodiffuse traits. You may or may not experience difficulty focusing deeply on topics or developing an area of special interest and understanding.  You might also fail to perceive gradations in sensory stimuli outside your own body.  It is possible you suffer from Vapidity Syndrome and could possibly meet its diagnostic criteria.  For certainty, please consult a professional qualified to diagnose this condition.   If you earned fewer than 30 points on this measure, you are likely suffering from a neurodiffusion spectrum disorder or Vapidity Syndrome.  People who score similarly often qualify for a diagnosis of these conditions. You may struggle to focus deeply on any topic and may lack an area of strong personal interest and specialization.  You may prioritize social maneuvering and displays of socioeconomic status over the creation of knowledge, health and goods for the community.  You likely do not perceive small variations in textures, sounds, and lights, though you may experience an extreme awareness of your body position in relation to self and space.  You should not take the result of this quiz as a diagnosis or a recommendation for treatment.  However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional.
