Salmān al-Fārisi grew up in Isfahan, Persia, in the home of a village chief. From an early age, he became devoted to the Magian religion and attained the position of the custodian of the sacred flame. Salman al Fasri was trained in the Persian language he had and sharp mind and became interested in other faiths.

She was a real “shadow in the sun.” People don’t realize her involvement. She helped setting up the foundations of Islam, subhanAllah.

Ā’ishah bint Abi Bakr memorized and narrated more than two thousand aḥādīth (sayings of the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam). She was second most hadith narrator after Abu Hurayrah.

A good leader is someone who possesses qualities such as intelligence, the ability to make smart decisions in different situations, and sincerity. Intelligence allows a leader to analyze situations, make informed decisions, and come up with innovative solutions. Making smart decisions in different situations shows adaptability and the ability to think critically. Sincerity is important as it builds trust and credibility among followers, and helps in maintaining transparency and ethical behavior. These qualities contribute to effective leadership and the ability to inspire and motivate others towards a common goal.

With his understanding of the Magian religion, Christianity, and Islam, Salmān was well qualified to interpret Islam to people of other faiths. In fact, he translated parts of the meaning of the Qur’ān into Persian. He was thus the first person to translate the Qur’ān into a foreign language

It was Sumayya, the wife of Yāsir and mother of ‘Ammār, was the first shahīdah (martyr) from the Prophet Muḥammad (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam)’s followers. A woman was the first person to give her life for Islam. The first martyr in Islam.

She had hidden wisdom. When Umm Salamah saw the Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) grief, she would offer wise suggestions. Amazing advisor gave comfort in a difficult situation.

Arqam ibn Abi Arqam donated his house which was close to the mountain of Safa in the fifth year of Prophethood. His house was in the mountain area of Safa and sort of in the back so didn’t create attention. So he gave Waqf, a sadaqah jariya that keeps getting used by community. So the first Islamic center for the Muslims was established, not a typical masjid. Many embraced Islam there and many heard the word of Allāh.

Barakah buried Āminah with her own hands, comforted the child and returned him to his grandfather in Makkah. Abd’l-Muṭṭalib soon died and Muḥammad’s uncle Abu Ṭālib took over as his protector. Wherever he went, Barakah was there for him, even in his matrimonial home with Khadījah!

Before Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, they thought Uthman (ra) was killed and the sahabiyy made a bay’a to fight to the death. When they were prevented from doing Umrah the Prophet (saw) ordered the Muslims to shave their heads, to make sacrifices, and to return from Makkah to Medina according to the settlement, most of them did not obey. The Prophet (saw) sought refuge with his wife. When Umm Salamah saw the Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) grief, she offered a wise suggestion and said: "O Messenger of Allah! They are reluctant to accept the settlement since they desired victory. You should stand up and go out without uttering a word, then sacrifice and shave your own head, and then they will obey!" Afterwards all the Muslims stood up and obeyed Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) command.

She died at 84 years old in 62 A.H., she was the last of the wives to die.

In Yathrib, Salmān toiled as a slave, awaiting the expected prophet. On the coming of Muḥammad (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam), Salmān’s hopes were fulfilled

Abu Ayyub hosted the prophet in Medinah. Abu Ayub and his wife were very modest people, and they said please sleep up, and the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said no I would sleep here and it’s better because people come to visit me.

Among the seventy-five representatives of the people of Yathrib at the second Pledge of al-‘Aqabah were two women, Nuṣaybah bint Ka‘b of Banu Najjār and Asmā’ bint ‘Amr from Banu Salamah.

This woman was STRONG. Women used to go and back up the warriors in front and take care of wounded and in some occasions if enemy came through they would have to defend themselves. So they knew some way of self-defense. In Uhud, the Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said whoever I looked to the right or to the left I saw Umm Ammarah fighting in front of me. She was there, she was NOT WEAK.

She eventually married ‘Ubayd b. Zayd of the Khazraj, went to Yathrib and gave birth to a son, Ayman. Thereafter she was called “Umm Ayman.” When Ubayd passed away shortly after and she went back to Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi
wa sallam) with her son to Makkah and lived in the compound area, because Khadija was wealthy women.

Suhayb was going to migrate and they surrounded him. He said laat and uzza are sleeping they are not an issue, and he took his weapons and said to people I am leaving and you come towards me I’ll attack. He said I’ll give you my wealth, I’ll give you my address and give all my wealth to you. They agreed and made his hijrah and they took over his wealth and he reached Madinah and came to Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) He suffered through all of the trials of the Makkan period and was imprisoned at the beginning of the hijrah. During a seemingly unsuccessful escape attempt, he bartered all of his riches for his freedom. The Prophet (ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) told him, “Your transaction has been fruitful, O Abu Yaḥya.”

All three of them played a motherly role in the prophet's life.

Hind bint Suhayl and Ramlah bint Abi Sufyan both had made hijrah to Abyssina and then later to Medinah.
