The Princess Gaurd can only be used for a very limited time. It is obtained by accessing chamber IIII on the clock face walkway in the Temple of The Ancients.

Tranquilizers cause sadness which decreases physical damage taken, but slows your Limit gauge down to a crawl.
Hypers nullify sadness & if used again, cause fury which is the equal opposite effect.

For players who like increased challenges it is useful to know this. If you want to go up against the Midgar Zolom early (because you want to obtain the Beta Enemy Skill or you're playing without using Materia), using tranquilizers is a popular tactic to mitigate the damage.

The Scimitar & The Apocalypse are the only two triple growth weapons in the game making them very useful.

Movers are those bouncing orange balls in the Northern Crater. They give you tons of AP, but no Exp.

Godo is Yuffie's father and boss of the Wutai Pogoda. You can beat him on disc 1, but if you do you can't complete your enemy skill list because you only obtain the fourth enemy skill materia after Gaea's cliff (Where Stilvas are found). Once you leave Gaea's Cliff there is no other opportunity to get trine.
You can also obtain it from the Materia Keeper in the Nebelheim Mountains.

PS1 players are less likely to know this than PC players. A glitch on the PC enables players to teleport through the game. Players have used this glitch to beat the game in minutes, visit the programmer's "debug room" & bring Aerith back to life.

Dispel cures Slow. Esuna cures a different effect called Slow-Numb that turns an ally into stone after 60 seconds.

Both Barret and Vincent can utilize the overflow glitch with their ultimate weapons.

The Lunar Harp must be excavated in order to progress past the Sleeping Forest.
W Item can be excavated here if you miss it in the Midgar Sewers.
Both Bahamut Zero & Phoenix can be excavated if you miss them (few players do, so they forget).
The Buntline is Vincent's best double growth weapon & useful if you have the patience to find it while you're still on disc 1.

Death Force grants immunity to all instant death magic although most people simply equip a Ribbon or a Safety Bit to secure themselves. L4 suicide doesn't cause instant death.

Cait Sith has a Limit called Lucky Girl, but Lucky 7s is something else. Death Roulette is an enemy skill. Kamikaze is a move in FF8. Queen of Hearts is a name I pulled out of my arse.

The correct answer choices that can be found in the Northern Crater on Disc 3 are W-Magic, Counter, Mega-All, Magic Counter, and Shield.
