What Type Of Police Are You?

1. Your fellow police officer call's while your patrolling a local grocery store. He needs your help to cover up a murder that he claims he "accidentally committed". You have known him since training school and you know he has a wife and kids. What do you do?

Decide to let him deal with it - You don't want to get involved

Help him - He said it was an accident and you know he has a family

Get rid of anyone who saw the incident - no one can know what happened

Report him - Although you have known him for along time you cant help him

Ignore all of his calls - You have more important things to deal with

Erase all of the evidence - Anything involving you with this situation could get you in trouble

2. Your doing your daily rounds as a police officer when you see a car pull up to a black male on the side of the road, when observing the situation you can tell an exchange occurs. What do you do?

Let it go - their could have been many things they were doing

Walk away and file a report - it isn't worth the trouble to investigate them

Confront the man who just interacted with the car and question him - it's to risky to just let the situation go

Shoot down the wheels of the car before it gets away - The car could have drugs in it

Detain the man without questioning him - Let the court system deal with him

Ask some bystanders if the saw what happened during the exchange - It's to dangerous to get involved

3. Your the chief police officer of your city and the mayor needs your help with deciding a curfew on protesting , what time would you pick?

6:00pm - Everybody one need to be home before it gets dark

7:00pm - Its almost dark out side

9:00pm - Everyone needs to go home before it gets to hectic

10:00pm - People were allowed to protest for a good amount of time and now it's time to stop

12:00am- People should be allowed to protest all night long

Decide not to respond with the mayor - You don't want to get involved with national situations

4. You were called to control a riot that may has potential to turn into a bad situation. What weapon do you bring?

Gun - If things get out of control a gun can get "The Job" done

Baton - You don't feel safe without your Baton

Riot Shield - Riot shield is the perfect balance of conservative and aggressive

Pepper Spray - Pepper spray is small and can be pulled out if you have to take action

Your hands - your going to stay back and make sure you dont get into contact with anyone

Decide not to take the call - you don't feel comfortable going to a riot

5. You are cruising down a neighborhood when you see a man walk into a house with what look's like a baggy of drugs. What do you do?

Kick down the door - You have enough Probable cause to barge in

Call the court house and ask for a warrant - The judge will know what to do

Fire your gun into the air and Yell for him to leave the house - You need to show authority in this situation

Knock on the door and leave if no one answers - You don't want to invade anyone personal space

Check the license plates on his car, I.D him and look at his criminal record - You don't want to get involved in a potential situation.

Keep on cruising - Your no SURE that you saw anything

6. If you arrested a male teenager for looting and rioting, and later you found out the he has no record of crime in his life what would you do?

Let the suspect go - he was probably at the wrong place at the wrong time

Forget about him - Let the court system deal with him.

Ask another officer to deal with him - A teenager is a waste of your time

Call his parents and ask them to pick him up - His parents will give him the right punishment

Make sure he gets into a juvenile detention center - After-all he did commit a crime

Get all the answers out of him that you can and the send him to jail - He can be used as a valuable source

7. You are in the middle of arresting a Hispanic male who is suspected to be in possession of a stolen car , when out of nowhere he takes off running. What do you do?

Shoot Him - You cant let him get away

Chase after him - You probably can catch up to him

Call reinforcements - Your going to need help arresting him

Let him go - it's not worth the time of time your day.

Tazer him - you want to stop him but you don't want to kill the guy

File a report - you assume that he wasn't really in posses ion of a stolen car

8. You doing your daily rounds when you see a black man running away from a store with a gun, assuming he just robbed the store you chase him. After telling him to put his hands up he drops his gun and lunges at you. What weapon do you drab first?

Gun - He's assaulting an officer

Tazer - You need to protect yourself by knocking him out

Baton - U can use it to try and force him away from you

Pepper Spray - Spraying him will do the trick

Fists - You can fight him and no one gets hurt

Beanbag shotgun - he need to feel the pain so he wont try it again

9. The mayor also ask's you to decide on a punishment for teenagers who don't follow the curfew, what would you decide as punishment?

No matter what age or race arrest them immediately - The curfew was set in place for a reason

A reminder be put in place every 30 minutes for people still roaming around - no one need to be hurt

Overnight stay at jail - Maybe putting them in jail might straiten them up

A police officer ride home - Their parents need to know what they were doing

Don't respond to the mayor - You don't want to get involved

Tear Gas - Throw tear gas at them

10. Your son is arrested for rioting and looting while you were out patrolling the protests, what do you do?

Get him out of there - That's your son and you know that you've taught him better

Let him stay over night - He needs to learn his lesson

Let the court system deal with him - You cant deal with your own son

Talk to the police Officer that arrested him and see what happened - You have to hear both sides of the story.

Yell at the man who arrested him and demand to take him home - You know he wouldn't do that

Blame it on someone else - Its the only way to keep his record clean
