Samson was known for his great strength, which he derived from his uncut hair, as part of a Nazarite vow to God. His story is found in the Book of Judges. Samson's strength enabled him to perform incredible feats, such as killing a lion with his bare hands and defeating many Philistines. However, his downfall came when he revealed the secret of his strength to Delilah, who betrayed him to the Philistines. Despite his failures, Samson's final act of strength brought down a Philistine temple, demonstrating God's power working through him.

Daniel was thrown into a den of lions because he continued to pray to God despite a decree that prohibited praying to anyone except the king. His faithfulness and trust in God were rewarded when God sent an angel to shut the mouths of the lions, sparing Daniel's life. This story, found in the Book of Daniel, highlights Daniel's unwavering faith and God's protection over those who are faithful to Him. It serves as an example of courage and devotion in the face of persecution.

David defeated Goliath, a giant Philistine warrior, using a sling and a stone. David was a young shepherd boy who volunteered to fight Goliath when no one else in the Israelite army dared to. With faith in God, David struck Goliath on the forehead with a stone from his sling, causing the giant to fall. David then used Goliath's own sword to kill him. This victory demonstrated David's faith and courage, and it marked the beginning of his rise to becoming the king of Israel.

John the Baptist used the Jordan River for baptizing people, including Jesus. Baptism in the Jordan River symbolized repentance and the washing away of sins. John's ministry prepared the way for Jesus, emphasizing the need for repentance and spiritual renewal. The baptism of Jesus by John in the Jordan River marked the beginning of Jesus' public ministry. The Israelites gathered it daily, except on the Sabbath, when they gathered enough the day before to last two days. Manna sustained the Israelites throughout their journey to the Promised Land. This provision demonstrated God's care and faithfulness to His people, ensuring they had enough to eat even in a harsh and barren environment.
