Cultural diffusion refers to the process through which different cultures exchange and share various elements such as ideas, beliefs, technologies, foods, and customs. Assimilation refers to the process whereby individuals or groups from one culture adopt the customs, values, and social norms of another culture, often leading to a blending or integration of cultural identities. This can occur through various means, such as migration, intermarriage, or social interaction, resulting in the minority group gradually adopting the dominant culture's traits while potentially losing aspects of their original culture.
