The United States launched the first geostationary communication satellite, named "Syncom 3," on August 19, 1964.

The Parker Solar Probe is a NASA spacecraft specifically designed for studying the Sun's outer atmosphere, known as the solar corona, and the solar wind, which is a continuous stream of charged particles emitted by the Sun. It was named after Dr. Eugene Parker, a solar astrophysicist who made significant contributions to our understanding of solar wind.
