Future. The world is always changing, and we need to stay on top of it.
Past. I am always thinking of how my previous experiences have caused me to be where I am today.
Past AND present. There is always a story of how something came to be, but focusing on the past too much does not give us time to look at our current lives.
Present AND future. The past may hold terrible memories, but if you utilize the time in the present, you can create a better future.
Past AND future. Combining what we've learned from our own painful experiences with wishes for the future may exhibit a strong hope.
