Explanation
A - It should be "What I want to discuss today is..." B - It should be "In today's presentation, I am going to discuss..." C - This is a way to change topics, NOT to introduce a topic
See book 4, page 12
A is incorrect because since goes together with a specific time, NOT a period of time (from start to finish)
D is incorrect. You should say "What I mean WHEN I SAY big is large".
A is wrong because 'been' to a place using present perfect means it is finished, but using since means it is still happening. B is wrong because 'graduation' is finished, but using since means it is still happening. C is correct. When we use already something is finished sooner than we expect. Here most people would not have studied yet and still need to do it, but you have finished it, so we say 'already. D is wrong because you can't say a time with present perfect. Also, just is used for something that finished just a short time ago.
A is wrong because you are not still finishing and this is what since means. You finished, then you continued to finish. Twenty minutes later you were finishing. And right now you are still finishing. So, the verb finish doesn't work well with present perfect. The others are all possible answers =D The answer you would choose to give depends on the meaning you want to give when you say it. B - I ate sooner than you expected me to eat C - I ate, and it affects the situation now (for example, I feel full and don't want to eat any more) D - I ate five minutes ago.
Number 2 and 5 are wrong because you can't use present perfect with a time. BUT it's okay to use a time if you use FOR or SINCE, but it changes the meaning so now it means the action is STILL HAPPENING. Number 7 and 8 are wrong because you can't use FOR and SINCE with verbs that are finished - this is because for and since mean something is STILL HAPPENING.
When we use present perfect, we don't use a time phrase. BUT you can add FOR or SINCE and if you do that, you can add a time - HOWEVER, this changes the meaning, and now it means an ACTION THAT STARTED IN THE PAST AND IS STILL HAPPENING.
