What Branch Of Christianity Are You? - Quiz

There are hundreds of Christian denomonations and fellowships, but the Christian Church at large can be broken up into four major sects, or branches, that include many denomonations based on doctrinal affiliation. The four major branches are Reformed, Pentacostal, Charasmatic, and New Apostolic. Now matter how independant you think you are, we all fit into one major doctrinal group. In 30 questions, you'll find out where you're Christian walk it fitted into the body of Christ. After reading your answer at the end, my hope if that you can use the description to examine your own strengths and weaknesses and come to conclusions about what you need to improve on and what you can offer the body of Christ at large.

Reformed Christian

You're a Reformed Christian. You are reformed in doctrine and experience. You don't over-spiritualize much. You most likely believe the gifts of the Spirit died with the apostles. Your faith heroes are thealogans and you strongly despise the "prosperity gospel." If you're pursuing a ministry position, you're probably preparing yourself through education. Teachers in your camp really like the ESV translation because it emphasizes God's soveriengty in salvation. Paul Washer and Ray Comfort are the bomb. You like to feel safe in church, knowing everything is doctrinally sound and in order. Your favorite revival occurance (other than salvation) is probably increased sanctification. Pentacostals think your weird for not embracing tongues. Charasmatics love your salvation theology, but frown on what they feel is a lack of passion. New apostolic people never attack your cessacionism because your nesecary to the body. All in all, you've done a great job of bringing solid doctrine and theology to the church. 

Pentacostal Christian

You're a Pentacostal Christian. You are pentacostal in doctrine and experience. Being Spirit-led is very important to you. You strongly embrace the pentacostal manifestations of the Spirit, like tongues. Most of your faith heroes are on TV. A ministry position is a very honorable thing so you'll humbly accept if your leaders choose you to have one. Teachers in your camp like the KJV translation because why change what works? R.W. Schambach and Rod Parsley are the bomb. You like loud and excited church with fiery preaching and powerful alter calls. You're favorite revival occurance (other than salvation) is probably baptisms in the Holy Spirit. Reformed people think you're nuts and in ways, heretical. Charasmatics love your enthuiasm and willingness to praise but do think you need to be more open to biblical correction. New apostolics see you as their father in the faith because there was no Latter Rain without Asuza street. All in all, you've done a great job of inspiring spirit-filled worship and intercessory prayer in the church.
