Vesurus exploded. sending a landslide of hot rocks, fire and gasses toward Pompeii . In less than two minutes, it killed everything in its path, and buried the city.the city was perfectly preserved and remained buried for almost 2000 years, Now people can learn a lot about how the Ancient Romans lived from studying Pompeii.
