I'll be hiding in the bathroom- (psst...call me when the concert is over).
Why thank you, Mrs. Maxford! Performing in front of the whole school! That sounds fun. I think I'll sing and dance or act. Oooh!-maybe I'll do magic tricks!
O.K..... That's a pretty big thing to do, but I thiiink I'm for it. I'll probably give a speech- that's the hardest thing to mess up. I'm a bit worried I'll embarrass myself and that something will go wrong. Which outfit should I wear? I must look nice.
Hmmm...I'll probably dress up as a superstar so I'll look really nice and dazzling. Maybe that popular kid will finally talk to me.
I'll dress up as a tiger or a baseball or maybe a tree.... something that will make me stand out. Maybe I'll win the costume contest!
I'll go in my normal clothes, 'cause if I go in a crazy costume- people would think I was wierd and if my costume wasn't good enough, I would be ashamed. If anyone asks me why I didn't dress up, I'll tell them I wasn't in school the day the festival was announced.
I'll invite a ton of people and have a costume party- with a haunted house and great food... I can't wait!
I'll have a small sleepover with my CLOSE friends- I would never have anyone but them see me in pajamas!
I would go out to a restaurant with my family and bring one close friend- fun, quiet, and small. I'd be afraid of having so many people's attention focused on me.
Ask to go to the bathroom right before your turn, and stay there 'till the end of class. You'll tell the teacher after that you had stomach problems.
You read a brief summary you wrote about the book.
You come in dressed as the main character and act out the story.
Extremely scared- what would your parents say if you failed a subject?
Great. You're sure you did well.
Hope you'll get a respectable part where you don't need to talk or sing- what if you forget your lines or people don't like your voice.
Have a nervous breakdown- this is AWFUL!
Are very excited! What could be more fun than dressing up and acting?
Getting ready to go shopping for new hat. You have to look just as great as all the other kids so they won't think you're below them.
All pumped up and excited! You've been waiting for this for a long time.
Busy convincing your mom that you'll be a disgrace to the family name and blaming her for getting you all worked up- after all, she IS the one who signed you up for this program, even though you hate singing.
I'll sell lemonade and cookies to the whole neighborhood and make tons of money.
I'll help my mom and my aunts- I'm sure they'll pay me well.
Heck with it, I'm not up for the work. I'll just give some of my own money.
In my room where I always do.
I'll just have to skip practicing tonight and read a book in my room until they leave.
