1. Which type of tax contributes the most revenue to the government?

Explanation

Income tax makes up 25% of tax revenues, National Insurance contributes 19%, VAT 18% and corporation tax just 8%.

Whilst Anchor is exempt from Corporation Tax because it's a charity, we still contribute plenty to the treasury through National Insurance and VAT, and many of our employees pay income tax.
