The only thing though that all tricksters seem to have in common is that they are deceitful. How and why they are deceitful varies with the time and place the character originates from. Even though some of the specifics in these tales are lost on us the spirit of these that makes us understand tales from far off places. Whether tricksters bring a touch of humanity to the divine and animalistic or vice versa is debatable, but it meshes both either way. Margret Baker puts it perfectly when she says that "the trickster figure is not dead, Read moreonly expanded and refocused in order to retain his relevance in modern society"(Baker, p. 157). Now you, in your modern day trickiness, exhibit trickstery traits. It is a broad archetype though, knowing your subcategory is the rub. So click on.
