This is a brief 10-item test formulated to give you an idea of whether or not you are suffering from depression. Note that this test is not formulated to diagnose you, but to merely provide you with an insight of your mood. A certain number of symptoms must be present in a given time (2 weeks) simultaneously for depression to be diagnosed. A selection of 4 or less symptoms of depression that occur within a 2 week period meets the criteria of Minor Depressive Disorder Seek a mental health care professional and consider forms of therapy to alleviate symptoms and address underlying issues before your condition worsens. You can also choose to select other alternative treatments such as herbal remedies, supplements, forms of relaxation, and light therapy.
