Network+ certification (also known as CompTIA Network Plus) is an international industry credential that validates the knowledge of computer network professionals with the equivalent of nine months of of hands-on experience.
Exam Costs: $239 each attempt.
Exam Location: You can register for the exam at any Pearson VUE and Thompson Prometric center.
Time Allocated: 90 minutes per exam
Total marks: Graded from 100-900 marks
Minimum Pass Marks: 720
Number Of Questions: 100 questions per exam
Exam format: Linear format; computer-based test (CBT)
Prerequisites: None. Comptia A+ or equivalent of nine months of networking experience is recommended but not required.
Validation Period: Certification does not expire
Score Report: Delivered immediate on test completion.
Exam Pattern The question types found on the network+ exam are:
- Multiple Choice with Single answer: Student is required to select a single answer from a range of options (generally 4-5) by clicking on a radio button.
- Multiple Choice with Multiple answer: Student is required to select a range of options. The number of options to select is specified.
- Fill in the Blank: Student is required to type in the missing text to complete the sentence.

And just like all resources at ProProfs, the Network+ study guide is completly free to all students and is built on the latest version of the exam.
In addition to our study guide, we also offer the Network+ Cram Sheets titled Sneak Peek, which is an ultra-condensed form of our study guide with additional tips and points that can help you pass the exam and answer even the most obscure test questions. The guide is designed to help you cram for the exam and would generally be read after the completion of the study guide.
Network+ Practice Tests & Practice Questions
Get a feel for the real test using our full length timed practice exams.Each practice test is timed to give you a feel of the pressures of the real exam. The tests are designed to reflect your score on the final exam.
We also offer several practice questions that draw from past exams and material that is known to be tested (i.e. material on the examination syllabus) on the exam. After the completion of the Network+ Sneak Peek, these practice aids should help you in your preparation for the exam.
