4. You are out hunting with your new mentor. He/She has just raced off into the bushes after a fat rabbit when you hear a branch snap loudly behind you. What do you do?

I jumped about two tail-lengths into the air, then ran back to camp because I was scared.

I crept silently through the trees to see what the noise was.

I ignored the noise and curled up on the ground, waiting for my mentor to come back.

I arched my back threateningly and snarled 'Who's there?!'

I climbed up into a tree so that I would be safe. Then I peered cautiously down at the ground.

I ran after my mentor to tell him/her about the noise.

5. You didn't find anything in the bushes but later that day a group of cats from an enemy clan attacks your camp! What do you do?

I yowled battle cries along with my clanmates and attacked the enemy. We ripped them to shreds!

I defended my camp along with the warriors and afterwards everyone praised me on my fighting.

My clan hid in our camoflaged dens. Then while the enemy were confused, we attacked!

I was the first to attack. I died bravely, protecting my clan. Every cat in my clan was sad.

I helped to protect the elders, kits and queens. I made sure that not a single one was scratched!

I ran away from the camp and hid in some grass. I didn't want to see my friends get killed!

6. It is time for your warrior ceremony (unless you died). Every cat admires you.

Leaf. I use leaves to heal the wounded. I'll be the best medicine cat ever!

Frost. I like the feel of frost underneath my paws.

Heart. I have a strong heart and I proved that in the fight.

7. Now that you are a warrior, you can choose a mate. You have fallen in love with a cat from another clan but you know your clan will not approve. Anyway, you have been friends with Lightfur, a cat in your clan, since you were an apprentice.

I don't care what my clan thinks. I will choose the cat I am truly in love with.

My clan doesn't approve so I'll meet with my love in secret. We'll work out how to be together.

I will run away with my true love and leave the warrior code too.

9. It is Leaf-bare and your clan is very low on prey. One day, you are out hunting with a friend. You have just had an argument and have said you won't talk to each other anymore when you spot a loner who has caught a plump blackbird. He is on your territory and stealing your prey! Your friend is a little way ahead of you so she hasn't noticed the thief.
What do you do?

I don't tell my "friend". I won't be the first to talk! Anyway, the loner is probably hungry too.

I arch my back and yowl at the intruder before pouncing on him and clawing him up!

I tell my friend. I can't stay angry at her while there's a prey-stealer on my territory!

I don't tell her. She's out of sight already. Besides, I can take on this crow-food eater single-pawed!

I am dead!!!

10. You and Redfoot, a cat from a rival clan, started a fight about the borders. You were convinced that he'd stolen some of your prey but he'd denied it and started taunting you about how you couldn't look after your clanmates. It had been a day of truce between your clans and you'd broken it. The clan deputy has somehow found out about the fight and asks you whether it was true.

I deny it. The leader would be so mad at me if the deputy told her.

I eventually tell him the truth. I wish I'd never broken the truce.

I tell him the truth. I make sure that Redfoot gets in trouble too, though.

I tell the truth. I don't care what punishment I get. It was worth it. I was defending my clan.

I tell him the truth but change a few of the details.

I deny it. No cat but Redfoot knows about this and I know he won't tell.
