If Percy would have just apologized instead of saying something sarcastic back, he probably would have stayed out of trouble. But because he was to brave, he got himself in trouble. As you can see, Percy is a brave and daring character, as well as being pretty funny. But sometimes these things get him into trouble. He is Percy’s loyal best friend, and his job in this book is to safely get Percy to Camp Half-Blood. Grover is very concerned about the environment, and he is able to read emotions, talk to animals, and make plants grow faster using his wood pipes. Grover has big dreams that he will be the first satyr to find the lost god Pan, god of the Wild.
