Organizing the event, putting the right people in charge of promotions, greeting, directing, and building. Making sure everything runs smoothly and on time!

Praying and possibly fasting for the event.

Greeting guests, and possibly promoting the play. You're in charge of PR!

Operating the lights, sound, or technical equipment. You might be a stagehand or even build the stage!

3. The event has been planned for months, and today is the big day, and things seems to be taking a downward spin. The speaker lost his voice, the door greeters are running late, and your babysitter just cancelled. What do you do?

After a brief moment of nervousness, you take charge and quickly start to focus on what needs to be done. You appoint new door greeters, begin to hunt for a new speaker, and you do it all with the kids at your side if that is what you have to do. You press forward and get it done!

You laugh because God has such a sense of humor. Even if you're not in control, you know God is. You'll fill in for the speaker because you know God will give you the words if you're just willing to step in!

You notice the frustrations and chaos, so you begin to quietly pray. You know God will work it out in His own perfect way.

You're there to lend your support. You'll greet the people at the door, and even make the coffee! After it's all over, you'll stay to help clean up and talk about what a crazy night it was and how God worked it all out!

You're there if they need you, but you might be busy adjusting the lights, fixing the sound board, tweeking the computer, or perhaps plunging a toilet because Billy just flushed Susie's doll! Not again, Billy!

4. A friend confides in you that they are facing foreclosure

You help them get their affairs in order so they can recover from this as quickly as possible. You help them review their options, make clear calculated decesions, and minimize their losses.

You pray with them, comfort them, but also feel spiritually obligated to encourage them to seek out any choices they may have made that would have contributed to this outcome. You want them to learn and gain wisdom. You don't want them to experience this again.

You encourage them, and remind them of all the blessings they have. Job lost it all and God replace it with so much more! " God is merciful and forgiving. He has so many good things in store for you! Praise God and keep pressing on!"

You feel a little uncomfortable discussing it, but if they need any help on moving day, you'll show up with the truck!

You comfort them, lend an ear and a shoulder, and maybe even take them out to lunch to cheer them up!
