Teacher Resources! Search thousands of research-based instructional materials in an instant to find relevant support based on educational skill, topic, or objective. Teachers can search by text, launch a wizard, use advanced search options, or select a suggested search term!
True! ISIP Modeling allows students to feel comfortable with the testing format before assessing. To find out which sub-tests your grade level will start with, go to the Toolbox Tab in your Report and Management Portal and select "Assessment Information".
Use the Istation/NCDPI RtA blue icon! Teachers and students will be automatically logged into Istation through their NCEdCloud platform when selecting this icon:
On-Demand Assessments! This feature allows you to progress monitor more frequently than the automated monthly ISIP. We recommend to use this feature sparingly to prevent over-testing a student, however, it does allow teachers to assign a sub-test in mid-month to see how the student is progressing in a specific area.
False! Teachers have the availability to progress monitor students monthly and the ISIP will automatically appear for students to take on the first login for each month.
False! There is a way to know if students are testing simply by looking at their computer screens. When students are taking the ISIP, there will be an "ISIP in Progress" bar in the bottom right hand corner. This bar will remain visible throughout the entire ISIP. When students are practicing in the ISIP Modeling feature, the bar will not be visible.
The Priority Report! This report identifies students for small-group instruction, gives teachers suggested supplemental teacher-directed lessons, and records documentation of interventions served! This report helps teachers answer the "What are we going to do about it?" stage in the problem solving process.
All the boxes! Teachers can measure oral reading fluency from digitally recorded student-read passages, manually score the recordings, and document results online for students in grades K-3. Results and data from the manual scoring will be used in the development of the next phase, an automated scored ORF assessment using the latest speech recognition technology.
ISIP Summary Report! This report gives the percentage of students at each tier level in your classroom. It will also list your students out individually and report their overall scores and scores in each sub-test. It is done in real time! As soon as students finish, teachers will have data to look at.
