You are placed in a secluded room, never to have contact with anyone. Food and water is passed to you through a small slot in the door. Years later, still locked in the room, you eventually die without ever having human contact again.

Your parents and you have a really intense fight. You get so mad that you suddenly black out and wake up to find your parents dead in front of you, stab marks on their chest, and a crimson stained knife in your hand.

You have spent your whole life researching new and innovative treatments for lung cancer. You have given up relationships with family and friends to focus on your research, you have given up your other hobbies, and you have given up traveling to other places. At the age of 85 you finally are 100% sure you've found the cure to lung cancer, able to save the hundreds of thousands that suffer from lung cancer when suddenly another scientist finds your work and publishes the cure to the public before you do, taking all the credit.

Every time you seek knew information you can't learn it. If you ever want to read a book, the words become jumbled. If you ever want to use a computer for facts or information, it breaks down. If you ever wanted to travel anywhere to learn about others culture or lifestyle, the flight is cancelled (or the car breaks down or the boat sinks, etc...) Essentially, you are stuck with a limited knowledge and never get to experience anything more than a mundane and boring life.
