How Macho Are You?

You have a higher level of knowledge and skills

You know what you're doing and you help them a lot

Of your leadership role

You make them feel appreciated for their contribution

they had misunderstood or made a mistake

They were blaming you for problems not of your making

They just had a different opinion than you

They had a valid point to make

Generally know what's best for them

Will very occasionally be convinced to change your mind once you've made a decision

Listen to what they think even though you know it's right or wrong

Have learned to listen and respect their wishes, sometimes even when you disagree

Let them know in no uncertain terms

Are secretly delighted but communicate it gently

Disagree and wait for their response

Ask about their view and then state your perspective

It's so rare that you make mistakes, that it's difficult to remember a time

You often divert attention to other issues

You'd rather others didn't know about it

It just shows that you're not perfect

You think they are saying you are not doing a good job and reject their offer

You usually decline because you can do it better yourself

You wonder if the offer is a veiled criticism

When you need help you are glad to receive the offer and accept

You can't remember not knowing how to do something

You carry on and fake it until you make it

You work on something else

You look up the answer or ask someone who knows

You blow up and put them in their place

You let them know how wrong they are

You figure they are making mountains out of a molehill and it's no big deal

You listen to find what they think is wrong

You let everyone know that you know something they don't

You wistfully tell people you wish you could tell but you can't

You are delighted to let others in on the secret that only you know
