Noise refers to any unwanted or random fluctuations that can distort or interfere with the transmission of a signal. In the context of transmitting a signal, noise can disrupt the clarity and accuracy of the signal, making it difficult to interpret or decode the intended message. Therefore, it is important to avoid noise in order to ensure the successful transmission of a signal.

Multiplexing is the correct answer because it refers to the process of combining multiple signals into a single channel for efficient transmission. This technique allows multiple signals to share the same transmission medium, optimizing the use of available bandwidth. By multiplexing, different signals can be transmitted simultaneously without interfering with each other, thereby increasing the efficiency of transmission and utilization of the transmission channel. Modulating, encoding, and decoding are not the correct answers as they refer to different processes in signal transmission.

FDM stands for Frequency Division Multiplexing, which is a technique that combines multiple signals into one transmission by varying their frequencies. This allows multiple signals to be transmitted simultaneously over a single communication channel without interfering with each other.

Multiplexing is the technique used to combine multiple signals into a single signal in order to optimize the utilization of transmission channels. By multiplexing, multiple signals can be transmitted simultaneously over the same channel, which increases the efficiency and capacity of the transmission system. This allows for more efficient use of resources and enables multiple users to share the same transmission medium. Modulating, encoding, and decoding are different processes that are not specifically related to combining multiple signals for efficient transmission.

GEO stands for Geostationary Earth Orbit. Satellites in this orbit have the same speed and direction as the rotation of the Earth, allowing them to appear stationary from the ground. This orbit is located at an altitude of approximately 35,786 kilometers above the equator, and it is commonly used for communication and weather satellites.

The correct answer is "Komunikasi point-to-point" because telecommunication devices such as telephones are typically used for direct communication between two specific points or individuals. This type of communication involves a sender and a receiver, with information being transmitted directly from one point to another without being broadcasted or shared with multiple recipients.

FDM stands for Frequency Division Multiplexing, which is a technique that combines multiple signals into a single transmission by varying their frequencies. This allows multiple signals to be transmitted simultaneously without interfering with each other.

In the FDM technique, different signals of information are sent simultaneously on different frequencies. This means that multiple signals can be transmitted and received at the same time without interfering with each other. By using different frequencies, each signal can be separated and decoded at the receiving end. Therefore, the correct answer is "Frekuensi" (Frequency).

The division of channels in radio communication is usually based on frequency. Different frequencies are assigned to different channels to avoid interference and ensure clear communication. Each channel operates within a specific frequency range, allowing multiple channels to coexist without interfering with each other. By dividing channels based on frequency, radio communication systems can efficiently allocate resources and optimize signal transmission. This enables multiple users to communicate simultaneously without experiencing significant interference or signal degradation.

The correct answer is "Mengirimkan masing-masing signal secara berurutan pada slot waktu yg berbeda." This explanation states that the working principle of TDM multiplexing is to send each signal sequentially in different time slots. This technique allows multiple signals to be transmitted over a single communication channel by dividing the channel into time slots and allocating each signal its own time slot.

Morse code is a method of communication that uses a series of dots and dashes to represent letters and numbers. It was commonly used in telegraphy systems to transmit messages over long distances. Each letter and number has a unique combination of dots and dashes, allowing the sender to encode and the receiver to decode the message. Morse code is still used today in some applications, such as amateur radio communication and aviation.

A walkie-talkie is an example of a half-duplex communication device because it allows communication in only one direction at a time. When one person is speaking, the other person cannot speak simultaneously and has to wait for their turn to communicate. This is different from a telephone or a mobile phone where both parties can speak and listen at the same time, making it a full-duplex communication device. Similarly, a television is not a communication device but a broadcasting medium.

In amateur radio communication, the correct sequence of message forms when being transmitted by a transmitter is sound - electrical signal - radio signal. This means that the message starts as sound, which is then converted into an electrical signal before being transmitted as a radio signal. This sequence ensures that the message is properly transmitted and received by the intended recipient.

A transceiver is a component in a telecommunication system that has the ability to both send and receive messages. It combines the functions of a transmitter and a receiver into a single device. This allows for two-way communication, where the transceiver can both transmit and receive signals.

The correct answer is "Transmission channel." In a telecommunication system, the transmission channel is the medium that connects the sender and receiver. It refers to the physical path or frequency spectrum through which the information is transmitted. This channel can be wired or wireless and is responsible for carrying the encoded data from the sender to the receiver.

The correct answer is "Gelombang suara ke signal listrik". This is because Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone involved converting sound waves into electrical signals, which could then be transmitted and received for communication purposes.

Line of Sight is the correct answer because it refers to the requirement in communication through terrestrial microwave where the communication path must not be visually obstructed. This means that there should be a clear and unobstructed line of sight between the transmitting and receiving antennas for effective communication.

PSTN stands for Public Switched Telephone Network. It is a system of interconnected telephone networks that use copper cables to transmit voice-grade signals for communication. PSTN serves as the foundation for providing Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) to users. It includes switching centers, local loops, and other infrastructure to facilitate the routing and connection of telephone calls.

The correct answer is "Jaringan digital" because a digital network uses routers to connect multiple devices and networks together. Routers are responsible for directing data packets to their intended destination within the network. In a digital network, routers play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate data transmission between devices.

Channeling refers to the division of a transmission medium in order to be shared by multiple streams of information. This allows for the simultaneous transmission of different data or signals over the same medium, maximizing its usability and efficiency.

The correct answer is "Full-duplex." The POTS (Plain Old Telephone System) provides a bi-directional communication service that allows simultaneous transmission and reception of signals. Full-duplex means that both parties can communicate at the same time without any interruption or need to take turns. In the case of POTS, it allows users to have real-time, two-way conversations over the telephone line.

A group of receivers, transmitters, and transceivers that are connected and able to communicate with each other form a network.

The correct answer is cladding. Cladding is the element in an optical cable that is responsible for keeping the light from escaping the cable by reflecting it back into the core. It acts as a protective layer around the core and helps maintain the integrity of the optical signal by preventing any loss of light.

When we dial a specific telephone number and wait for the connection to be established, the process that is taking place is called switching. Switching refers to the process of connecting the calling party to the desired destination or receiving party. In this case, the telephone network is responsible for routing the call to the correct destination based on the dialed number.

The function of a modulator in communication through terrestrial microwave media is to shift the frequency of the signal to a higher range.

The demodulator in communication through terrestrial microwave media is responsible for moving the frequency of the signal to a lower range.

The correct answer is "Menfokuskan signal." The utilization of parabolic antennas in communication through terrestrial microwave media is intended to focus the signal. Parabolic antennas are designed to collect and concentrate the incoming signals, allowing for a more focused and directed transmission. This helps in improving the signal strength and reducing interference or noise, resulting in better communication quality.

The correct answer is "Local loop". The local loop is the element of the PSTN network that connects the customer's telephone equipment to the central office or switching center. It is also known as the subscriber loop or the last mile. This physical connection allows for the transmission of voice signals between the customer's premises and the telephone exchange. The local loop typically consists of copper wires or fiber optic cables and may also include intermediate distribution frames or other equipment to facilitate the connection.

A local call is a call made from one telephone to another within the same end office.

A switching center in class 3 is also referred to as a primary center.

Encoding is the correct answer because it refers to the process of converting the original message into a format that can be transmitted or stored. This process involves transforming the information into a specific code or signal that can be easily understood by the recipient or the device receiving the message. Encoding is an essential step in communication systems as it ensures that the message is accurately represented and can be successfully transmitted or stored.

When we make a phone call using POTS service, our voice signal will be multiplexed with the voice signal of the other telephone connection for the first time at the end office.

The correct answer is "Emitter". In optical fiber communication, an emitter refers to the light source that is used to transmit signals through the fiber optic cable. In this case, a LED (Light Emitting Diode) is used as the emitter to generate the light signals that carry the information. The core, cladding, and coating are other components of the fiber optic cable that help in guiding and protecting the light signals.

The correct answer is "Distance call" because it refers to a telephone connection that involves communication between switching centers that are located far apart from each other. This type of call is typically charged at a higher rate than local calls, as it requires the use of long-distance transmission facilities.
