The 2 options available are the schedule timing for refresh and who to send the notification after the refresh.

Send a refresh notification to suers with access to the dashboard.

In the case of talking about salesforce administration there are two options available when scheduling a dashboard refresh. These options include defining refresh time for specific dashboard components and sending a refresh notification to users with access to the dashboard.

A scheduled dashboard refresh will be an automatic refresh that occurs at a defined rate. However, if the running user doesn't have access to the dashboard folder a refresh will not refresh as scheduled. Dynamic dashboards cannot support scheduled refreshes and must be refreshed manually instead.
