If a business analyst finds that the benefits of a project are not 100% attributed to only that one project they should distribute the benefit across business cases for each project. This is the sort of knowledge that a Certified Business Analyst should be aware of.

If this is something that you are interested in pursuing then there are sample tests that can be found on the internet that ask these sorts of questions and more. Taking one of these sample tests can prove beneficial in making yourself aware of of what areas you need to study.
