Can you use a cooker in a recipe?

If you mean a slow cooker, like a crockpot or a pressure cooker, yeah. There are recipes specifically designed to be cooked in a crockpot and a pressure cooker. There’s a lasagna recipe, for example, that uses a slow cooker. You make it in the pot for the crockpot or slow cooker that you own, and set it on low for four hours.

Just let it go, set a timer, and forget about it until dinner’s ready. There are other recipes out there, of course, and one can find them in a couple different ways. One is to do a simple search online. The second is to look through recipe books you may already own. You never know what’s in those until you look through them.
