Acid reflux is defined as a condition in which acidic gastric fluid is regurgitated into the esophagus causing heartburn. This condition is a really common occurrence across many different types of people. Chances are that almost everyone has encountered acid reflux at least a few times in their life. If you are one of the unlucky people that encounters this condition more on a regular basis there are some foods that you might want to look out for.

These foods include citric fruits and juices like orange, grapefruit, pineapple and tomato, coffee both caffeinated and decaffeinated, and caffeinated soft drinks. Staying away from these types of things might save you an episode of dealing with acid reflux.
