Consuming alcohol, whether on a regular basis or just occasionally, can have a large effect on your body in a negative way. Alcohol effects almost every organ of your body including your brain, heart, liver and pancreas. Ingesting alcohol on a regular basis puts you at more of a risk of developing certain cancers such as mouth, throat, esophagus, liver, and breast cancer.
If the list of cons of consuming alcohol wasn’t long enough, it also weakens your immune system making your body more susceptible to illness. Chronic drinkers are much more liable to contract diseases such as pneumonia and tuberculosis than those that don’t drink.
