Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia. It also contains the most people compared to the other cities in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh is the head of the municipal districts located in Saudi Arabia. Riyadh itself is divided into section just like the country is. Riyadh has 14 sections. Riyadh’s climate is warm winters with very hot summers. Since The Middle East has a strong historical background, Riyadh has many old ancient landmarks.

One landmark that was built in the 1800s is Masmak fort. The city has built many new modern buildings as well including skyscrapers such as the Riyadh TV Tower and Burj Rafal. Soccer (or football) has become a popular attraction for the sports fans there. The Al Hilal is a stadium that was built in the 1950s to house this sport.
