The video port of the computer is also known as the graphics port. Some address this as the “VGA Port.” This can be found at the back of the computer and this will be connected to the computer’s monitor.

Take note that different video connectors are available and you need to find connectors that will be compatible with your VGA port and your monitor. The graphics port will make it possible for different videos and images to be seen on the computer. Just imagine if you would not have a visual screen, you will not be able to work on your tasks at all.

The video port of a computer is basically and generally referred to as a "graphics port." It is also known as the "VGA port.” It is a socket, which lies on the back of the computer which is used in connecting to a monitor. The standard video port for a computer system is actually a 15-pin VGA connector, which can be used for an analog monitor.

The DVI connectors can also be utilized for the direct digital output to flat panel displays. There are two common sockets that can be found on a computer system that can be used for connecting a monitor; they are VGA and DVI. The NVIDIA-based video card has two of them. This adapter can connect to the NVIDIA card and also provide outputs for three analog video connections. The yellow socket is a composite video, the green, red, and blue are for the component video, while the black is S-video.

USB video adapters are machines that take one USB port and go to one or many video connections, such as VGA, DVI, HDMI, or display port. This device is useful if your ambition is to add a display to your computer setup but is out of your computer's video connections. USB video adapters necessitate the computer to have a free USB port. USB video adapters must require your video card to be able to manage an additional display. This scenario is because USB video adapters operate with your onboard or dedicated video card to drive further displays. For this reason, you are advised to substantiate this with your video card manufacturer. When using various USB video adapters on the same computer, they need to use the same chipset group. You might not be capable of making use of a USB video adapter with an all-in-one computer.
