Getting into any branch of the United States military will require a degree of physical fitness. In order to get into the air force you will have to pass the physical requirements necessary. The requirements are slightly different for males and females as male and female bodies do differ in certain areas.

For both genders you must be able to run 2 miles in under 17 minutes. Males need to be able to 45 push ups in 1 minute and females need to be able to do 27 push ups in 1 minute. Both genders need to be able to do 50 sit ups in a 1 minute time period as well. If you can pass all of these requirements you are able to enter basic training for the air force.
