It is vital that the patient will get enough oxygen especially if he is having problems with his airways. A person who is not able to breathe for a few minutes will die. The fact that one person cannot breathe is already an emergency.

Those who are unable to breathe for a while might lose consciousness in the beginning and still can be revived but if the person did not have any oxygen for a certain period of time, this can lead to immediate death.

Insert oral airway, perform head tilt chin lift, ventilate with BVM and have suction near by.
