The Native Americans crossed North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee and Oklahoma during the Trail of Tears.

The Native Americans were forced to move from their homelands in the Southern United States by the United States Government, after the Congress passed the Indian Removal Act in 1830. They were forced to move to Indian Territory in Oklahoma.

The trail of Tears began with the removal of the Choctaw in 1831 and ended with the removal of the Cherokee in 1838.

The Native Americans didn’t cross South Carolina, California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Maine, New York or New Jersey.
