Snakebite piercings are on the lower lip, and there are two piercings, and they are evenly separated on each side of the center of your mouth. This procedure is usually done with a pair of rings; however, it can be done with studs if preferred. It will help if you determine what you want in the beginning because it is a slow healing process, and they can’t be changed right away. The spider bite piercing is also two piercings but closes together on the bottom lip, and you could choose rings, studs, or barbells.

No matter which you decide, be prepared to pay around $100.00 just for the piercing itself, and you will be investing about 12 to 14 weeks in healing along with daily hygiene care, so you don’t become infected.

Piercings are a fashion statement that can add flair to a person's body and face. Traditionally, people would just get their ears pierced, but as time has gone on, there are many other types of piercings that a person can get.

Two of these are Snake Bite and Spider Bite Piercings. One of the differences between them is where they are located. They are both located on the lower lip. A snake bite is two piercings that are on the opposite side of the lips. A spider bite is two piercings that are on one side of the lower lip.
