Some people assume that Islam and Sikhism are similar but they have differences that you need to be familiar with. One similarity is that they are both monotheistic. This means that followers of these religions believe that there is only one creator. Islam is known to be an Abrahamic religion that you can find in the Arabian Peninsula while Sikhism is founded in Punjab.

One reason why people often think that the two are the same is they have practices that are very similar to each other. Another difference is the number of pillars that are available for each. In Sikhism, there are three pillars. There are five pillars that are available in Islam.
